    The RMO-H is battery operated and handheld micro-ohmmeter. It is designed for a variety of applications for contact resistance measurement of non-inductive test objects.   • Three-Phase Transformer Winding Resistance Meters

    When it comes to winding resistance measurement on three-phase power transformers and autotransformers, TWA Standard series offers some of the most technically advanced instruments with LCD display in the market. Both models are capable of testing six transformer windings with a one-time cable connection, as well as three-phase automatic transformer demagnetization. The stored magnetic energy is safely automatically discharged at the end of the test. The built-in tap changer control unit enables automated test mode, where the instrument operates the tap changer without operator input and records winding resistance results based on pre-selected stabilization criteria. This option makes the operator’s job significantly easier.Both models can output test currents from 5 mA to 25 A DC for the purpose of winding resistance measurement. TWA40D has a special test mode for checking the synchronization of on-load tap changers with three phases simultaneously tested in parallel, in which the total test current can rise to up to 40 A DC.TWA40D has additional advantages when it comes to non-intrusive tap changer analysis. The unique DVtest method enables checking the moving contacts of on-load tap changers during the transition, measuring the transition time, detecting open circuits, and many other types of faults. It is performed with 0.1 ms sampling rate, simultaneously with the measurement of tap changer motor current which helps with the detection of motor and mechanical issues. A special proprietary algorithm is used for testing tap changers connected through a built-in series (booster) transformer. The DVtest can be performed either on one phase or on three phases simultaneously. It can also be performed as an additional test simultaneously with the winding resistance test in all tap positions.An additional unique advantage of TWA40D is the capability of simultaneously testing the winding resistance of all three phases of a three-phase transformer (connected in a YN configuration). This can significantly shorten the total testing time – for example, it enables the operator to perform 33 measurements instead of 99 on a tap changer with 33 tap positions.The test leads for TWA three-phase transformer winding ohmmeters are interchangeable with the TRT turns ratio testers, which means that both sets of tests can be performed with a single test lead connection to the power transformer terminals.

    This series of PXI Thermocouple Simulator Modules is available in a choice of 32, 24, 26 or 8 channels—each channel providing a low-voltage output across two connector pins capable of providing ±20mV with 0.7µV resolution, ±50mV with 1.7µV resolution and ±100mV with 3.3µV resolution, covering most thermocouple types. These thermocouple simulators use two wire outputs with a remote output reference sense to ensure the modules deliver accurate low-level voltages, even if the system has common mode voltages present. In addition, each simulation channel is also able to provide an open circuit setting to simulate faulty wiring connections to a sensor. For improved accuracy each channel of the Low-Voltage Source carries accurate calibration data stored  on the module.   • Bulk Current Monitoring Probe

    The Current Monitoring probes may be used whenever RF current measurements are required. Current measurements are made by placing a current carrying conductor within the “sensing” window of the probe and measuring the probe’s output voltage with an RF detector. Calibration of the probe permits the conversion of the voltages measured to current. Current measurements can be made over the frequency range shown in the transfer impedance curve furnished with each probe. There is virtually no loading of the circuit and the technique permits normal operation of the device under test during measurements. The MP-50 can be used for the procedure for clamp injection when the common- mode impedance requirements cannot be met given in chapter 7.4 of IEC/EN 61000-4-6 „Immunity to conducted disturbances, induced by radio frequency fields”.     The ICE3005 is an agile filter/amplifier cascade for the UHF frequency band with a VHF bypass. It enables simultaneous operation of multiple transceivers in a cosite environment and is factory configured for an ARC-210 interface. This filter/amplifier provides multiple poles of RF selectivity to reduce broadband noise, harmonics, and spurious signals while still providing full output power in transmit mode and excellent selectivity to interfering signals at the transceiver’s RF input in receive mode.   • Muzzle Velocity Radars

    MVR Series - Innovative Technical Systems

    The MVR Series of Muzzle-Velocity Radars are Doppler-CW transceivers that measure the velocity of viewed objects such as projectiles. They use phase-locked millimeter-wave transmitter-receivers along with an integrated radome-protected antenna to illuminate objects under investigation. An optical boresighting aid provides alignment assistance for the narrow radiation patterns. Reflected signals from the target are received by the antenna and mixed to produce a video output equal to the Doppler spectrum of the target. A low-noise, variable gain video amplifier can drive a 50-ohm cable up to +1 volt output. The video amplifier has a feed-forward DC offset compensation circuit that extends the Doppler frequency response from under 1 Hz to over 2 MHz. An integrated DMM and LCD display on the front panel monitors various test points within the sensor to verify proper operation. The extremely rugged design allows the MVRs to withstand high acousitic shock environments so they can be located in close proximity to the projectile source.
